It also marks the launch of new Kiwi Human Rights organisation, “Humanity Matters New Zealand”, and the launch of its first project, funded by InternetNZ, researching the impact of dangerous online speech in Aotearoa on the local Jewish community.

What we do

Education Resources

Humanity Matters NZ will have a primary focus on human rights in the key areas of race/ethnicity and gender, and specialisations in genocide.

One of our key objectives is to provide curriculum-based materials for teachers on human rights and specific case studies on genocides around the world. Resources will include lesson plans, and activities for educators and schools

Consulting

We will provide a range of consulting services to NGO’s, corporates and government agencies. Our consulting work will encompass strategic advice, training, policy analysis & development and presentations at in-house conferences/seminars.

Advocacy

In the advocacy area, our work will include market research, media relations, public speaking and submissions to Select Committees on relevant legislation.
